Jamvi La Moshi is an annual traditional cultural festival that seeks to preserve and grow the art of oral story telling in Hindi in Lamu.
Organised by Hindi Cultural Centre in partnership with UNESCO, the festival sees visitors from across the Eastern Coast of Africa participate in story telling, poetry recitals and retelling of proverbs with several master classes being held through out the 3 day long festival. In 2017, the Hindi Cultural Centre approached Sticks & Stones to provide consultancy services to the festival through organization of the festivals program, scheduling of recitals & master classes, organize for event coverage as well as working with the selection panel to determine which artists were to be invited for performances.
